US Angry That Israel Attacked Syria First

5th November 2003

President Bush has been quick to condemn Israel’s attack on Syria today claiming that the United States has spent months building a case up against Syria and that they should have waited their turn.

“Israel has been extremely impatient,” George Bush announced in a press conference following the air strikes by Israeli Bombers, “They have jumped the queue and attacked their neighbour when they have known full well we wanted to do it first.”

The Israeli attacks came in response to a suicide bombing at the Israeli port of Haifa, which resulted in the deaths of 19 people. Israel claims it was targeting terrorists operating within Syria however many countries from around the world have condemned the attacks.

George Bush accepted Israel’s claims regarding terrorism but insisted in future that Israel waited their turn:

“Syria is part of our Axis of Evil which means they are indeed terrorists. However, it takes months of manipulation and spin to convince a marginal majority that your claims are true. Often that must be done in conjunction with tax cuts or a major political scandal to shift attention from exposing the truth. Israel has failed to do any of these things meaning I am unable to support their attacks.”

The United States has recently been building up a portfolio of Iran’s nuclear development program, which has gained the support of many Western Countries. George W. Bush has therefore urged the Palestinians not to relocate to Iran to prevent Israel from spoiling another US invasion.
