Comic #3 : "System Launch"

This was the first comic idea I actually came up with and drew, when I first considered the possibility of doing a web comic. I originally drew it on a sheet of paper and scanned it into my computer but my scanner was old, and my drawing not good enough to pull this sort of approach off (also, professionals who use this method have a much better set up, so everything was stacked against me)
While the joke might be a bit generic (a stab at Windows Vista) it was more to demonstrate what this comic is all about, ie, a tech based comic that will appeal to people who enjoyed the absolutely amazing British sitcom "The IT Crowd" which if you haven't watched you must stop what you are doing now - even you are currently performing life saving surgery on a baby - and load up on Netflix, or 4oD, or whatever Internet streaming service provides it where you are.
The other thing I wanted to do with the comic was introduce HAL9000 as a character who will occassionally cameo as a character. This is for two reasons, one: HAL9000 provides an excellent constrast between how we imagined computers would/should be and how they are. But also because it gave me an excuse to tweet about the comics on the HAL9000_ parody Twitter account that I write for.
