You know, I fully anticipate people to argue that Jonathan Ive is more talented than a brain surgeon and thus that is why he gets paid a lot more money, however while there may be case for that (well, he's arguably the most talented and most successful person in his field and thus more talents compared to an average brain surgeon in the field of brain surgery) that doesn't mean it requires more skill.

Brain surgeons - and their metaphor counterparts, Rocket Scientists - are truly some of the most incredible people on the planet and while the engineering that goes into an iPhone can amaze every day people that is only because it is more relatable.
