In Civilization: Call To Power you had the option of playing the world map as if it was a torus, so the north and south were continuously scrolling like east and west. Of course, this does set up the theoretical model of a three dimensional universe which wraps around on itself and is continuously. That would mean you could look through a telescope and see the back of your head - well, presumably at least 15 billion years later anyway.

I came across this great video by YouTuber Zogg From Betelgeuse that explains the shape of the Universe and the joke I am making in this comic.
