GCSE Pass Rate Up, Teenage Pregnancy Rate Down - February 23rd 2003
The Government has implemented a radical plan that has succeeded in dramatically cutting the teenage pregnancy rate, and significantly increasing the GCSE pass rate without distorting statistics or making the GCSE exams easier.
They have accomplished this by switching the definitions of “GCSE Pass” and “Teenage Pregnancy”
PSE lessons have now become the fundamental lesson in the National Curriculum with an “Intimacy Hour” being introduced for GCSE students.
It is believed that this radical change in Government policy will cause the GCSE Pass Rate to increase dramatically over the next few years whilst Teenage Pregnancies will fall to an all time low.
