New BT Broadband Advertising is more Honest

27th January 2003

A new advertising campaign launched by BT today was praised for being honest by Oftel and the Advertising Standards Authorities.

The Advertising Standards Agency was impressed with the honesty of BT's new poster campain.

BT have admitted that what most of their users will end up downloading on their computers from the Internet is, in their words, “crap.” Thus, whilst broadband does have its advantages over modem Internet connections, the most noticeable different between ADSL and dial-up Internet is the rate at which you receive the crap.
