Microsoft have admitted that there might be a slight security risk involving its popular Passport Technology when its free web-based email website ‘Hotmail’ was replaced with a website reputedly selling access to obscene videos of Microsoft Founder Bill Gates.
Some 200 million people use the Passport technology and it supposedly offers a secure online identity to provide companies with a reliable user identity. However, when users signed in to use their Hotmail accounts today they were shocked to discover they could purchase a series of Videos involving Bill Gates from “Bill Gates’s Farmyard Fun” to “Proof that Bill Gates is not MICRO – SOFT”
Microsoft insisted that this was an ‘insignificant incident’ and that Hotmail accounts were still bullet proof as the hackers had not gained access to the email accounts, just the main web server. However, when the problem was rectified Several Hotmail users found they could only log into their accounts when they used the password: ifonlyIcouldaffordtosubscribetothatmuchporn
Microsoft have said they will look into the incident to see if it is likely to reoccur however the US Administration intervened and insisted Microsoft take immediate action when it learned that the hacked website had stated:
“Next Week: We reveal George W. Bush’s High School Geography Exam Papers.”
