John O'Farrell Invents 'British' Wheel - September 18th 2006
Writer John O'Farrell has taken credit today for inventing the wheel. Whilst he freely admits he is not the first person in human history to have developed such a device he insists he is the first person to do so in Britain.
"For me, moving stuff around always seemed to hard - yet British people never came up with something that consistently made it easier for me. I figured there was clearly a demand for a wheel... invented by a British person."
Whilst a few people have dismissed O'Farrell's ideas as 'crazy' - claiming that the wheel has been around for 'ages' and he's not providing anything new to the world - after being linked to and heavily publicised on a major news website most people disagree; websurfer Keith Wilson was quick to add his thoughts:
"At last, a British version of the wheel!"
Others have pointed out that whilst they loved the existing version of the wheel, it always felt too American for them. Now that the news has made it clear to them that O'Farrell is the first British person to successfully produce a British alternative, they are happy.
For O'Farrell though, the ideas don't stop there. Apparently two hours before the article appeared online he successfully invented a British version of the blowjob.
