Prince William To Appear in Max Power

17th July 2003

Prince William, second in line to the throne, is set to appear in the motoring magazine Max Power following some of his hair-raising incidents.

Recently, the prince made the headlines for expressing interest in a 160mph Motorbike and for enraging another motorist by driving recklessly. Prince Charles, like any father was concerned at both of these incidents and publicly apologised for his son’s behaviour.

Humiliated by his father’s ‘old man’ attitude, Prince William immediately retaliated by ‘modding’ his car with flared wheel arches, gold alloys, and a custom made, gold exhaust kit. He is set to appear in Max Power with his car creatively nicknamed ‘The Crown Jewels’

During the photo shoot, the Prince was determined to impress the journalists who had come to report on his car, and proceeded to show off by performing a variety of handbrake turns, 120mph lane switching manoeuvres, and wheel spins. Unfortunately, one misjudged power slide saw him go through a householder’s hedge and on to their lawn.

The householder, Keith Wilson who was home at the time, ran out of the house, furiously shaking his fist at the Prince’s car – completely unaware of the driver’s identity. However, the seven-car police escort (who had been following the Prince the whole time for his protection) immediately surrounded Mr Wilson and arrested him for threatening the heir to the throne.

In their report, Max Power claimed they did not condone the Prince’s driving – however they put the caption ‘Tosser’ beneath a photograph of the raging Mr Wilson, and the caption ‘Sad’ beneath a photo of his Nissan Sunny.
