Starving Child in Africa Volunteers to Trade Places with David Blaine

A starving child living in one of the poorest parts of Africa has volunteered to trade places with world famous illusionist David Blaine.

The child claims that David Blaine, who is currently on the 3rd day of a 44-day endeavour to survive without solid food, is in a far more comfortable position.

“44 days without food? Some of my ancestors have gone much, much longer than that without food.” The child explained to us, “At least he has a constant supply of water. There are some weeks where we are lucky to get some every day.”

“To be honest, I could do what he’s doing. My little sister could do it, and my grandfather has done it.”

The issue of David Blaine’s financial situation did not help the matter:

“How much is he getting paid for this? If he was doing it to help people who are forced to undergo the endeavour he has foolishly volunteered for then it would give it purpose.

“People are tuning in on TV sets to watch a man starving to death. If they put a camera in Africa they could see a million people doing exactly the same thing.”
