Iraqi Bullet Shot Across Border May Contain Chemical or Biological Agents - April 2nd 2003
Chemical and Biological Alert sirens were rung in the US and UK bases on the Iraqi Border when a bullet was shot across the border. The soldiers and other personnel were quick to react, hurriedly putting on their hazard suits and gas masks in case the projectile was part of a Chemical or Biological attack.
The bullet came to rest a few miles away from any military camps and a team was dispatched to see whether there were any traces of deadly toxins or gases.
After a wait that lasted nearly an hour the report came back that the bullet was clean and was not part of Chemical or Biological attack.
“We were lucky this time,” an army spokesperson informed us, “But we are all to aware that the next bullet could be part of a Chemical or Biological attack. We really do think he has these weapons. We are convinced he would use them against us rather than hide them to make it look like he was telling the truth when he said he didn’t have any.”
The Interview was cut short when an Iraqi seagull was reported to be heading our way. We were quickly hurried into the bunkers and put our hazard suits and gas masks on again in case the seagull was making the first strike of a Chemical or Biological attack.
Whilst the seagull did drop a toxic payload, army investigators eventually determined it was not one of the Biological agents they believed Saddam was hiding.
