Controversial British MP, George Galloway, informed critics that he alone prevented Saddam Hussein from obtaining Weapons of Mass Destruction, because he ensured that Saddam could never afford them.
“This is why I was against the war,” Galloway explained, “I knew darn well that Saddam Hussein didn’t have Weapons of Mass Destruction as he was giving all of his disposable cash to me.”
Mr Galloway received the news that the Telegraph had reported his association with the Iraqi regime whilst he was staying in his holiday home in Portugal.
“I would have probably have heard earlier,” George Galloway announced in a press conference, “Unfortunately my holiday palace in Baghdad was bombed so I had to make last minute changes and was therefore harder to contact.”
