Sportman Faces Disciplinary Charges

18th January 2003

A major sportsperson was brought before his disciplinary body today facing allegations of killing another player on pitch after losing a match to the victim’s team. It is the first time a player has been brought before the council since the shake up of the sport’s ethical code.

The sportsperson repeatedly kicked and punched the opposition player and was certified dead by the Official Match Doctor. The sportsperson was criticised by his fellow teammates but the behaviour was branded as “an unnatural outburst” founded only due to “stress related problems.”

The Sport’s Governing Body disagreed and the player was brought before an internal court. His punishment was a 5-match ban, but his treatment is attend “murderess corrective counselling” sessions.
