Saddam Hussein to Hire Michael Jackson's Lawyer - May 17th 2005
Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein has expressed an interest in hiring the lawyer responsible for clearing the pop singer Michael Jackson of child abuse earlier today. The former dictator explained that he hoped he too could go back to his ranch after he got cleared of mass genocide and war crimes but would refrain from going near chemical weapons in future to avoid being put in such a compromising position again.
Jackson's Lawyer, Thomas Mesereau, has not given any formal response as to whether he is interested in representing Saddam Hussein however Saddam Hussein has said he can be expected to be paid generously for his services if he decides to accept the offer.
Many people have been critical of Saddam Hussein claiming that the evidence clearly shows he is guilty of the crimes he has been accused of, however Saddam was quick to point out these people were saying exactly the same thing about Michael Jackson before the jury declared him innocent and Saddam sees no reason what Mr Mesereau cannot work his magic again.
A spokes person for Saddam Hussein claimed: “Mr Hussein says that all of the claims made against him are not true, they are just sick, false allegations blown up by the media.”
Mr Hussein claimed that twice previously people had approached him accusing him of war crimes and genocide saying they would take him to court if he did not pay them a hefty out of court settlement. However on both those occassions Mr Hussein was able to exercise his powers as a brutal dictator and have them boiled in a vat of burning oil.
The spokesperson did not stay for many questions, except when asked if there was anything else Mr Hussein would like to take from Michael Jackson's court case. The spokesperson responded:
“Mr Hussein has said that the services of Mr Mesereau are what he desires the most. However, if Mr Mesereau is not able to represent Saddam Hussein then he is particularly interested in hiring the jury.”
