Michael Douglass and Catherine Zeta Jones to Stop Working

2nd June 2003

Following the release of topless photographs of Catherine Zeta Jones on the Internet, Catherine Zeta Jones and her husband Michael Douglass have announced they are to give up their showbiz careers but sustain their seven figure income through Court Battles over breaches of their privacy.

This particular court battle is the second instance of recent times of the couple taking a company to court after they published photographs of the couple – the first was the famous cases against Hello! which the couple were victorious.

Following this most recent case the couple are confident that it will not be long before more unsolicited photographs will be published and they can make another court claim, thus eliminating their need to do any actual work.

Their court case is likely to consist of how very rich they are, and how whilst ordinary people would be deserving of a few hundred pounds compensation at most – being celebrities they would need several hundred thousand before they even realised they’d received any.
